Inactivity notifications

If inactivity monitoring is enabled for an environment, Impliancy notifies you when an artifact becomes inactive.

What inactivity means

An artifact is considered inactive when:

  • It has not run or been modified for longer than the admin-defined threshold
  • It is likely unused or abandoned

Notifications you receive

You will be notified by email when a compliance form needs to be filled out or renewed.

Notifications include:

  • Artifact name
  • Environment
  • Days since last activity
  • Recommended actions

Trigger an activity

In order for Impliancy to know that the artifact is still active, you can click on the link in the email, or go to Impliancy, then to the section of the artifact in question, then click on the artifact itself and click on the Trigger activity button.

Alternatively, you can:

  • Remove it if no longer needed
  • Transfer ownership

Auto deletion (optional)

If configured by admins:

  • Inactive artifacts may be automatically deleted after a grace period
  • You will always be notified first by email

Use this as a prompt to keep your artifacts up to date.
