Artifact types

Impliancy indexes five types of Power Platform artifacts.
For each type, specific metadata is collected to support governance, compliance, ownership, and inactivity monitoring.


5. Environments

Collected metadata:

  • Environment name
  • Environment ID
  • Environment type
  • Created By
  • Creation date
  • Last modified date
  • Region
  • Dataverse URL
  • Permissions (validated each sync)
  • Inventory setting
  • Compliance setting
  • Inactivity setting

Not indexed:

  • Dataverse table data
  • User data beyond owners/deputies

1. Power Apps

Collected metadata:

  • Name
  • Environment
  • App ID
  • Owner (synced both ways)
  • Deputies (Impliancy only)
  • Created By
  • Last modified date
  • Creation date
  • App type (Canvas / Model-driven / Vibe app)
  • Sharing information (users, permissions)
  • Compliance status
  • Inactivity status
  • Solution reference (if part of a solution)

2. Power Automate Cloud Flows

Collected metadata:

  • Name
  • Environment
  • Flow ID
  • Owner
  • Deputies
  • Created By
  • Creation date
  • Last modified time
  • Solution reference

  • Inactivity status

3. Power Automate Desktop Flows

Collected metadata:

  • Name

Metadata retention

Impliancy only stores metadata needed for:

  • Governance
  • Compliance
  • Ownership
  • Inactivity
  • Auditing

No business data from inside apps or flows is stored.
