Managing ownership and deputies

Owners and deputies can manage the responsibility structure of each artifact.

Changing the owner

Admins and existing owners/deputies can reassign ownership.

Steps

1. Open the artifact
2. Select Change under Owner
3. Choose the new owner and click on Add User

Adding deputies

Deputies support governance tasks and have nearly the same permissions as owners.

To add a deputy:

1. Open the artifact
2. Select Change under Deputies
3. Choose the new deputy/deputies and click on Add User

There is no limit to the number of deputies.

Removing deputies

1. Open the artifact
2. Select the Change under Deputies
3. Click on the trash icon next to the user you'd like to remove as a deputy

This revokes access immediately in Impliancy and the Power Platform.
